Zigbee2mqtt 'configuration.yaml' file location issue

Hello
I have installed zigbee2mqtt on my Pi4 HomeAssistant.

I read that I can set config parameters via UI and also from /config/zigbee2mqtt/configuration.yaml

Issue is, whatever changes I make from UI, I do not see it gets changed in file at /config/zigbee2mqtt/configuration.yaml

Whatever changes I directly make via file editor /config/zigbee2mqtt/configuration.yaml, I do not see effect in UI.

I also deleted /config/zigbee2mqtt/configuration.yaml file and still add-on works properly.
