Zigbee2mqtt, impossible to control lights

Zigbee2mqtt 1.21.1-1, HA Core 2021.9.6, ConBee II. Channel 25. 49 controllers, 50 other devices.
I have many Philips and Ikea lights.
Sometimes they seem to work fine for a while, but suddenly I get this error message and it’s impossible to control the light. Very frustrating!

Typical error messages:

Same problems, started happening randomly after a period of time…….

Here to report on the same z2m behaviour: from time to time, once a couple of days it hangs with genOnOff.off on zbMini at zbbridge with Tasmota software.
Switched to development “Edge” branch of z2m, looks like the issue is gone, but I’m not completely sure.

The Edge branch of Z2M does seem to solve quite a lot problems as the normal version has not been updated for quite some time now. For me, it has solved a few issues with devices that previously were undiscovered using the normal version.

Therefore I wouldn’t be surprised if this updated Edge version solved your problem.

Last update was 1 november. In fact, there is a release every 1st of the month for quite some time now.

Strange. It seemed to me that Z2M did not get any updates since March as I was running 1.18.1 without any update available. Good to know there were updates available.

Meanwhile Z2M edge is running like a charm and for now there’s no need to switch back to normal.

Ah, you were using the deprecated Daniel Welch add-on. You’re not the first one stuck on 1.18.1 by not using the official add-on.
