Zigbee2MQTT | Internal (Addon) or External (Container)

Hi,
i migrated from IOBroker to Homeassistant. As a “relict” from this i still have Zigbee2MQTT running in an external Docker Container. Everything works fine, but i have to take care about the Zigbee2MQTT by my self (Backup, Update etc).

Now i am asking myself, if it makes sence to move the Z2M installation to the Addon/Integrated Version with HA. The only question i have:
If i reboot HA after configuration changes etc, will AddOns be also restarted? If so, how long will the ZigBee network down? Running Z2M external is currenlty not affected from anything in HA.

Environment: HA is running in a VM on a Proxmox Host, Z2M on a LXC Node on the same Proxmox Host

Thank you for any advice

I prefer container install of HA with manually managing everything that could be an addon. Based on events in the past year (NodeRED addon broke for HAOS users, docker update broke supervised install), I only recommend this install method.
