Zigbee2mqtt native at home assistant

I would like zigbee2mqtt to be native to home assistant. and that the device sonoff dongle - P and E connect without having to make numerous configurations.

That’s not going to happen.

  1. Home Assistant already has ZHA built in
  2. Zigbee2MQTT is developed by somebody else
  3. Zigbee2MQTT is designed and intended to integrate with a range of platforms

As Z2M uses MQTT Discovery the number of configuration steps required are already as low as they can get - particularly if you’re using the add-on.
