my installation of zigbee2mqtt is currently at 1.18.1-1 and I normally wait for notification via HA for updates, the github is at V1.23 and I can’t see anyway to force an update as I need to add some new devices that have recently been added.
HA instalation fully up to date.
When you click this button in the bottom right:
Do you see Zigbee2MQTT in that page? If not then you have to re-add the repository so HA knows how to update your addon.
hi,
Yes it’s there and links to the configuration page.
If I uninstall the add-on and re-install it will I have to re-pair devices as I have over 60
No, that won’t, see here for what does and doesn’t require repairing.
The data directory it refers to in there for reference is the value you put in data_path
in the configuration of the Z2M addon. It defaults to /share/zigbee2mqtt
if you didn’t change it. Uninstalling and reinstalling the addon won’t touch that folder so it will just pick up where it left off. If you’re worried no harm in taking a backup of the folder to be on the safe side.
Hi,
Thanks for your help, back up and running with 1.23, had to restore my configuration settings and the /share/zigbee2mqtt before it would find everything.
Thanks
