Dear all, hope you’re doing good
I’m currently using legrand 412171 via HomeKit into Home Assistant but the Wifi Cloud sounds not so good for me and i would like to include this contactor directly into HA via Z2M.
I’ve tried sevral times to include it but Z2M doesn’t see any association at all.
What i did, i press the reset button for 8s until the module will be excluded from the APP Legrand.
That’s done correctly.
I start pairing mode on Z2M, i press on more time the module legrand for 8s and i click 1 time per second on the reset button. The led is flashing green but no association at all
I think i don’t have the correct working instruction to do the pairing. I’ve tryied a lot of conbination without any success.
Any help would be great
Thank you by advance and have a nice day !
Maybe this device is not supported or signal is too weak to add it.
It is supposed to be supported:
Well he can always enable debug log in z2m and see what is going on when he try to pair device.
I think i need to review the pairing method.
I’m already on Channel 11, i have also others Zigbee devices around without any issue regarding the signal.
Let me check this interesting working instruction : Legrand Connected contactor 412171 Zigbee compatibility
I’ll try ASAP, Have a nice day and thx again
It sounded like what you were doing already:
Hello Tom,
I agree but i’ve seen more details through pipiche38 wiki.
More details explain like this :
Pairing process
- Remove the device cover in order to get access to the Factory Reset hole (or button). Do not mix the factory reset hole/button with the led.
- Enable the Zigate pairing mode and make sure that Domoticz accept new hardware is also on
- Press the factory reset
- after few seconds it should be flashing green/red (stay pressing)
- after around 8 seconds it should be flashing red (the pairing process should be starting)
- click immediatly on the factory reset once more
- when turning the led is green the pairing process is completed.
Alternative is :
When the led is red (not paired):
- press the reset button until it flash green 3 times
- when the led comes back to red, click once on the reset button
Will see…
