Zigbee2MQTT: USB dongle no longer found

Team,

I am asking for your help with my Z2M setup, which has worked excellently for a long while, but suddenly seems to have lost connection with the Sonoff ZB-Type P dongle.

I am afraid the issue is not Z2M but the underlying setup.

  • ProxMox 7.4.16 on Intel NUC i5, 16GB, 500GB SSD
  • Running Z2M as docker container in LXC, on Debian

I had USB pass-through working fine for the Sonoff Zigbee dongle, but seem to have lost connection in the LXC container.

On the ProxMox host-node, I see this:

When unplugging the USB dongle, I see this:
It seems to connect and immediately disconnect.

I do not seem to have a /dev/serial/by-id/ structure.
My 60-serial.rules file:

My LXC config file (on ProxMox host-node):

When trying to start up the Z2M docker, I get this error:

Starting Zigbee2MQTT … error

v/ttyUSB0": not a device node

ERROR: for zigbee2mqtt Cannot start service zigbee2mqtt: error gathering device information while adding custom device “/dev/ttyUSB0”: not a device node
ERROR: Encountered errors while bringing up the project.

Any Linux / ProxMox gurus out there willing to help me out ?

Thank you in anticipation !!!
