Zigbee2mqtt with Conbee II not pairing devices

I have

  • Raspberry Pi 4 with HAOS and Home Assistant:
    • Core - 2024.12.5
    • Supervisor - 2024.12.0
    • Operating System - 14.1
  • Conbee II with the following firmware: 0x26580700.

I configured it using Zigbee2mqtt and this is how my config file looks like:

homeassistant:
  enabled: true
advanced:
  network_key:
    - ...
  pan_id: 22908
  ext_pan_id:
    - ...
  log_level: debug
  channel: 11
mqtt:
  server: mqtt://core-mosquitto:1883
  user: addons
  password: __PASS__
serial:
  port: >-
    /dev/serial/by-id/usb-dresden_elektronik_ingenieurtechnik_GmbH_ConBee_II_XXXXXXX-if00
  adapter: deconz
  baudrate: 57600
frontend:
  port: 8099
version: 5
availability:
  enabled: true

The Z2M addon starts properly with the following logs:

However, I’m not able to pair any device. I permit to join devices in Z2M, set paring mode in a device and nothing happened and there are no logs related to pairing.

I tried to use Conbee II with my PC and everything works fine so the dongle is working fine.

I also used this before in a similar configuration and it works. The only changes are:

  • prob a different version of HAOS
  • prob a different version of Z2M
  • SSD used instead of SD card

I connected the SSD via SATA-USB3 adapter to Raspberry PI.

I tried to connect Conbee II via USB 3 and USB 2 with a 1m cable extension and without it.

Does anyone have any clues as to why this is not working? Is there something I can check more to find the root cause?
