Zigbee2Mqtt working but can't recognise new devices

I’ve had no problems running HA on Raspberry Pi 4 for the last ~1 year. Device = Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 Dongle-P (old version, not E)

Z2M began playing up around a month ago at version 1.35 or so. My zigbee devices are still connected and functioning, however, the Zigbee GU10 Tuya lights stopped working recently and despite being removed from the configuration.yaml and HA config, I can’t add the devices to Z2M again. I’ve tried reseting other devices which are currently paired/working, and reseting to repair does not get recognised.

TLDR: cannot get Zigbee2Mqtt to recognise new devices

Someone else is having a similar problem - don’t know if they’re connected:

Thanks for the link. doesn’t appear to be related. I’m going to update firmware and try again.

I want to flash the coordinator firmware, but the device won’t unscrew (I’ve tried for hours). I initially flashed the device with coordinator firmware using a python script either on mac or raspberry pi- can someone remind me the process? I’ve googled it and all reference seems to require me opening the dongle which was never required the first time

Try

and enable auto-bsl
