Zoneminder Event View

As many of you know, Hass has a component which displays the event count for each modect camera. Has anyone explored a way to display the latest event in Hass? And possibly allow us to click the event and view the recording within hass?

It seems the API will retrieve a list of n events from x monitor. That is probably a good start…

I’m not a programmer but I figure if we can get a list of events and links to the videos, our next step would be loading the video into a hass panel, which seems totally doable because that exists for camera streaming.

Any ideas?

Did you find anything? I just set up my camera and I found it hard, from HA, to see the events and what happened.

I wish there were a shortcut, that opens the list of events if you click on the sensor…
As there ain’t, and I wanted an easy way to access the ZM pages, I just added the zoneminder web interface as an HA iframe :
