Zoning using WiFI?

I’m used to have Ariela on Android, there I use my home wifi ssid to know wether I am home or away.

This doesn’t seem to be in the iOS companion app? Even when I set my home ssid, it still loads the external URL too. And I’m 100% positive the ssid should match. On Android/Ariela it worked perfectly with that ssid.

Would it be possible to use home ssid to set the tracker’s zone to home and when not connected set it to away.

Can you get the information from your router? If your phone has a consistent IP address (reserved in the router, or long enough DHCP lease) you could use a ping sensor.

Rather than working around it for the long run, perhaps it should be a feature request. I’ll check the github repo.
