Hi All,
My Journey with Home Assistant on a Raspberry Pi 4:
I started my Home Assistant (HA) setup on a Raspberry Pi 4, running Home Assistant on a Docker ENV (Home Assistant Supervisor by Home Assistant
Version: 2024.09.1).
My goal was to automate various devices in my home, including Z-Wave devices like the Qubino ZMNHCD3 with Zooz 800 Long Range USB Stick.
Along the way, I encountered several issues, but I’ll focus on the key ones:
After setting up my Zooz 800 USB stick on the Raspberry Pi, I wanted to manage a Z-Wave device (**Qubino ZMNHCD3 flush shutter).
I had some disconnection issues a few minutes after the Zooz 800 USB stick was configured.
I contacted **Zooz company support, and they asked me to update my firmware to the ZST39_SDK_7.22.1_US-LR_V01R50 version.
After updating to this firmware version, i dont have any more disconnections, i can see the USB Zooz 800 device stable, but I can no longer recognize any Z-Wave devices, and I’m not sure what to do from here.
Troubleshooting until now:
Trying the exclusion mode in order to clear all the installed Z-wave networks|(if there were)
trying to identifying the device in a different ways
Then i return the Z-wave Qubino device into my old Vera router - it was configured correctly(after identifying all the way from scratch on the Vera router).
Please Help!!
Thanks
Ran
