Zooz S2 Stick, model ZST10

Hello,

I’m considering buying the new Z-Wave USB stick ZST10.

Since it is not listed in the Supported Z-Wave USB Sticks & Hardware Modules (https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/z-wave/controllers), I would like to know if someone has successfully integrated it with HA?

The distributor says it’s compatible with open source home automation software like Home Assistant, OpenHAB, or HomeSeer.

see: https://www.thesmartesthouse.com/collections/zooz/products/zooz-usb-z-wave-plus-s2-stick-zst10

Thanks a lot

It looks like the controllers page was updated 3 days ago to include this as confirmed working.

“Tested the Zooz z-wave Plus S2 Stick ZST10 with Home-Assistant. Zwave worked, nodes included and communicating using a Raspberriy Pi3 with the latest Hass.io.”

I recently setup a new Home Assistant installation (Hass.io) using the Zooz ZST10 S2 USB stick…

It seems to be working well but I did notice that in the Z-Wave properties for that device, it shows “zwave plus = false”

I have other devices like new dimmers that show “zwave plus = true”

I wonder why this USB stick isn’t showing Z-Wave Plus support?

No that is normal, it’s mentioned somewhere in the docs that the zwave controllers will always report false here. It will still do plus communication.

Edit:
Here on the control panel page, https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/z-wave/control-panel

is_zwave_plus True for any Z-Wave Plus devices (note that controllers always report false , regardless of whether they are Plus devices or not)
