No sure if this is the correct location for this post so apologies in advance.
I install a Zooz Zen 71 on/off switch in my MBR closet. The switch paired with HA and I can turn it on and off in the device area.
I tried to create an automation to turn the light on if motion is detected but the switch doesn’t show up in the choose entity options. I have another switch in another closet that does show up in the list. Its a Zen 72.

You are trying to use the light service to turn on a switch. You need to use the Switch: Turn On Service to turn the switch on and off. That’s why you only see light bulb icons in your automation and your device has a rectangle switch icon.

No problem. You can also make switch appear as a light by clicking on the entity. Then clicking show as the selecting light from the list.
I think the issue is the Zen 71 on/off defaults to a switch and the Zen 77 dimmer defaults to a light because it’s a dimmer.
