ZOOZ Z31 RGBW Dimmer + Z-WaveJS Weirdness

This is one odd product.

Added to Z-Wave.JS and was properly detected:

But there are many entities. (2) (3) (4) (5) are Red, Green, Blue, White channels.

This main one is the only one I really need, but it doesn’t make much sense:

  1. The color picker just doesn’t do anything

  2. Color temperature? Seems to be for adjustable white channel LEDs, Does nothing in this case

  3. Status updates on this entity are supremely slow. Shows the wrong color etc. The device itself responds instantly.

The individual color channels do work.

How do I set this up so I can just have a single sane control?

@VinistoisR Have you updated to the newest 2021.5 release?
I have the same Z31 RGBW controller and ran into the same issue you did and most of it is resolved in 2021.5
I would highly recommend using the custom card “RGB Light Card” or “Light Entity Card” and not the built in card.
But either way using the first device in the list is what you will want to use.

In my case I frequently want to utilize the same light colors. So I use the RGB Light card and have buttons for each color.
