I have a ZEN15 and it’s giving my problems in Home assistant. The switch state is not being reported correctly.
if I toggle the state either in dev tools or through Lovelace cards, the switch actually turns on the then Lovelace card toggles will toggle back to off even though the switch is now turned on (I can confirm as the small appliance I have plugged into it will be turned on).
the switch state in dev tools will show it as “off”. So something is wrong here.
I have latest firmware already (1.04) on the device.
Try changing parameter 24 (On/Off Status Change Notifications) to 2 – sends notification ONLY if status is changed manually by pressing and releasing the Z-Wave button on the Power Switch. It seems counterintuitive and that the default of 1 should be correct, but I see a lot of timeouts occurring with the notifications as I place the switch further from the controller and the setting of ‘2’ works fine in all cases (HA always reflects the proper state).
I have an excellent mesh and this is the only device that regularly times out sending notifications, so something seems strange about it. In any case, I was seeing the same behavior and changing that config parameter has made it much more reliable.
