Zooz Zwave USB firmware 7.19.3

I updated my Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range S2 USB Stick ZST39 LR to the latest firmware 7.19.3, using the Simplicity software.
All me approx. 80 Zwave devices appear to be working fine but whenever I open ZWave JS UI it does not show any contents and then HA disconnects and restarts by itself. I wonder whether it just means that ZWave JS UI needs to be updated. I asked Zooz Support whether I should revert to the previous firmware, but as otherwise everything seems to be working, I may not do that. Any suggestions ?

Where did you download the firmware from? I would like to install it on my stick as well.

Also I would try using the standalone version of Z-WaveJSUI. I personally find it much easier to work with especially when it comes to testing. You simply download the zip file, extract it then double click on the exe file to run it. When you run the program a new folder is created is called store. This stores all of your settings and backups. This means that if you want to downgrade or upgrade to the latest version you simply stop the old version by closing the program and then start the new program. It literally takes 10 secs to upgrade or downgrade this way. So you can just try multiple versions and see if that fixes your problem. If that doesn’t fix your problem maybe someone more experienced can help you troubleshoot.

I also noticed that the standalone versions are available days or weeks before the addons in HA get updated.

Zooz sent it to me and told me that it should be on their website by now. Thanks for the tip on ZwaveJSUI. I’ll try it.

Sorry about my ignorance but after opening your link, where do I find the downloadable zip file ?

Scroll down and expand the assets section.

I also have another question. Have you tested the backup and restore capabilities yet? I’m interested to see if those issues are fixed

I found the file (thanks) but not able to install. I must be doing something wrong. I have a dinner tonight and will be working on it tomorrow.

My HA is on a Yellow Box and I’m not sure that adding the ZWave JS UI on my Windows computer would resolve the issue. I was already told by Zooz support that I can not revert the Zwave stick to a previously firmware version, so right now my hope seems to be that ZWave JS UI will be updated to make it compatible with Zooz-zwave-usb-firmware-7-19-3,
As mentioned before, my HA works fine, including the close to 80 Zwave devices. I can add or remove Zwave devices, but when I click on ZWave JS starts to add weirdly and therefore I avoid doing that.
BTW what is the difference between ZWave JS and Zwave JS UI, as they appear the same to me ?

Z-Wave JS and Z-WaveJSUI both use the same driver. This means when you connect them to the Z-Wave JS Integration you will see the exact same settings and so on. What makes Z-WaveJSUI different is that it also provides you with a user interface and alot more information.

Off the top of my head there are several things I can think of that you get with Z-WaveJSUI. Association support, nvm backups, Network graph, ability to manually set Z-Wave routes, additional smart start settings, and it provides you with the command class id, property, and value information. This information is useful for more advanced automations.

All of these are features that other hubs have.

Thanks.
BTW I don’t know what made the difference but now all my Zwave devices show up again in ZWave JS UI and HA does not restart by itself. Hurray
