In case anyone is in the process of shortlisting a smart-speaker for integration in HA please check this article as I did some review of the Marshall Stanmore.
Zound Industries did not invest enough in the software stack of their speaker in order to be able to easily integrate in HA.

@elonden do you have any update after 4 years on this topic that brings any new “lights” to add Marshall speakers as a output speaker for our home assistant?
Would love to see it. Don’t understand why this is sooooo complicated and don’t easily exists nowadays.

Nope, nothing. It’s not that it’s difficult but the company behind the smart speaker (Zound Industries) is just utterly unresponsive and not interested in updating/maintaining and expanding new software for existing speakers. I’m never going to by one again.
