ZWA-2 LED Behavior

I have migrated from an Aeotec Z-Wave Gen 7 stick to Home Assistant ZWA-2 and using Z-Wave JS UI add-on for control.

After the migration, the device has been updated to v1.1 from the add-on interface. The network seems operational and devices are responding to commands.

The device is mounted according to the instructions, on a flat surface.

The LED behaviour is peculiar. It blinks continuously (~0.5s on, 0.5s off) and cannot be turned off using the LED switch unless the tilt indicator is disabled. When the tilt indicator is disabled, the LED turns solid blue/white and can be controlled by the LED switch (off or on). No matter how I move or tilt the device, the blinking continues, unless turned off.

The add-on logs don’t show anything out of the ordinary.

Is this a normal behavior? Is my unit faulty?

That is not normal when compared to my ZWA-2. The “tilt” LED function appears to be hardware controlled, so if you are seeing the blinking, even when the antenna is in the vertical position, that seems faulty to me.
