ZWA039 Aeotec Ltd. / aërQ Temperature and Humidity Sensor v2.0 Configuration

New with Home Assistant. Here what I got:

Home Assistant Core

Installed version: 2022.4.5

Z-Wave JS Add-on

Current version: 0.1.56

I was able to add the ZWA039 Aeotec Ltd. / aërQ Temperature and Humidity Sensor v2.0 but not sure how to add the entities. (https://devices.zwave-js.io/)

Has anyone configured one of these before?

Nothing? Still having issues here…

Device looks like this, already factory reset…

The only entities associated.

Mine looks way different. I don’t remember needing to do anything special to get all the sensors. Yours is not seeing the device type ZWA009 so thinking you should remove and re-add.

Thanks! I was able to successfully add it using Z-Wave JS to MQTT.

Now I see the values but can’t pull them into the dashboard…

maybe gotta do something like this? Z-Wave JS - Home Assistant

any idea how? lol

Hey My Guy,

I had the exact same issue!

I found that the Aeotec 700 controller had a firmware update:

After the update I re-interviewed the node and now I can see all sensors on the dashboard!

Give it a go.

Cheers,

Simon

Hey @sighmon, thanks for your reply. It seems there’s something that is always stopping the process…

Can’t find a way to update my Z-Stick 7. You would assume it would be as simple as right-click upgrade firmware but that is not the case. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

woot woot! Got it working, thanks @sighmon !
