Zwave - binary sensor entity

Hi,

Quick question, I have added 3 more multisensors the last days. these new is using the name schema of entitys for binary sensors like this:
binary_sensor.sensor
binary_sensor.sensor_2
binary_sensor.sensor_3

The old ones that I have included in the past is using the “node name” in the entity.

Have I missed anything?

Yes, you’ve missed the long and frustrating conversations about the new entity registry not updating the entities in line with the Zwave configuration.

The current state of affairs is that you need to manually edit the entity registry to change the entity_id.

Uuugh, I wil read the thread but I think that I also will feel pretty frustrated afterwards =)

I guess this is the file then to going back to manual mode again.

ps. some best practice, like wait in the boat and relaxe until everything is migrated to use the new process or manual as you said or x y z?
