Zwave dongle dissappeared

my home assistant can’t seem to find my zwave dongle anymore. i think it maybe disappeared after an updaste. tried rolling back a couple weeks but still can’t find it. this is the error message i’m getting.

Driver: Failed to pen the serial port: Error Resource temporaritly unavailable Cannot lock port (ZW0100)

I’ve tried power cycling home assistant. Completely shutting off the pc. Trying a different USB port… Nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?

figured it out. apparently it had changed ports so i needed to select the new port in zwave config. now i can see everything again.

unfamiliar with this. how do you do this and will it keep this from happening again?
