I’m currently using another home automation hab.
I need to control my Widom Roller Shutters and on the home assistant documentation, zwave version 1.4 is not present in the compatible devices, while on the new version 1.6 it is present.
Is the zwave device update expected to come out, or is there a way to update zwave and control my roller shutter?
Sorry for the many questions but I would be new on home assistant.

I have found that there are 2 ways to implement open zwave 1.6, zwave2mqtt and ozwcp, correct?
Do you recommend it as the first “adventure” in the home assistant world?
Which one do you recommend for a future compatibility?

Hello @Tony2. Did you have any luck? I tried with both 1.6 and 1.4 but it couldn’t recognize the device.
it seems that Widom device aren’t compatible with z-wave integration on HA 
I try to connect the Widom Energy Drivern Switch but it isn’t recognized
