Zwave is going bonkers here

So ever since .62.1 my zwave lights are going crazy for no reason. Entity_id’s all look fine, scenes and automation SHOULD NOT be turning these on as they have not changed.

For example if I walk into my bathroom my BRUH sensor turns on my lights (not my bright zwave light switch) except now when I walk into my bathroom it turns them on, along with every other zwave attached light in my house both switches and lights.

Get this, I even disabled zwave from my config and it STILL triggers! HA is no longer aware of my zwave devices and yet is still communicating to them in a completely unscripted way. I have no clue what to do. This makes zero sense and it’s driving me mad.

It sounds like there has been a Zwave association set between your bathroom light switch and other lights. If your light switches are now in an association group, one turning on will turn them all on. This is a feature of the Zwave network and will operate independently of your Zwave controller. You need to go into the Zwave menu and check the Associations to first see if your bathroom switch is in an Association group.

I will try that, I don’t understand how that works haha but i’ll try it! My zwave is triggering without the zwave stick even powered up!

Okay so my zwave bathroom motion sensor has a node group association called “1: Lifeline” what on earth does this mean?

Yes indeed associations are controller independent as I mentioned - they function between devices without need for the controller.

What’s the brand and model # of the motion sensor?

This is what I’ve got https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=122&cp_id=12212&cs_id=1091804&p_id=15902&seq=1&format=2

I’ve tried removing the association to no avail
