ZWave-JS 0.4.2 "Dropping message with invalid payload"

I have three instances of HA, all using an Intel NUC Celeron 4 core, 8 GB RAM, 120GB NVME, ZOOZ ZST10 700 Zwave USB, SONOFF Zigbee Plus-E, HA Core 2023.12 Supervisor 2023.11.6, HA OS 11.2, Frontend 20231206.0, Z-WAVE JS was recently upgraded to 0.4.2
On the Upgrade to Z-Wave JS 0.4.2 from 0.4.1 the Zigbee reported some interference. A reboot was done and the error did not return. But now on all 3 units I’m getting “Dropping message with invalid payload” and ZWAVE devices are not responsive in HA. These all 3 instance are remote, I’m limited to restarting the ZWAVE JS Service, Rebuilding the network, and/or rebooting, so far the issues is not resolved.

Is there anything else I can do?

If you can do a remote reboot of the server I’d try that. It may just need a power cycle. A reboot should reset the USB hardware which may just be in a fouled up state.

A reboot and rebuild partially worked. What’s unusual on everything that is a node/repeater/extender are not working. I now have access to the battery power ZWave device. The Smart Plugs, switches, and repeaters are either unreachable or giving dropping messages. This is for 2 of the 3 instances. The other is only giving occasion dropping message.

I will be on site on Monday and I will do a cold reboot, removing and re-inserting everything.

I run a couple of remote HA. I never update them, change the config, etc, unless I’m physically there.

That was my plan! Honestly, I wasn’t going to do it, but I screwed up.

The battery connected device are going offline frequently now.

In the log of all 3, keeps says changed to jammed, then changed to ready.

I was able to restore a backup before the update and everything is back to normal.
