Every time I start up Zwave JS UI, I get a “new version available” popup for v11.xx. I’m currently on latest v7.0.0. If I hover over the info bubble in the upper right it says I’m running v11.x. But if I look at the “Settings > Apps > Zwave JS UI” it says v7.x. If I check updates within HASS or the ZWAVE JS UI app interface, I get no updates available.
What am I missing here?
Why the inconsistencies?
How do I upgrade to the latest v11.x if needed?
I see now. Thank you! If running the app, should that config option be “off” by default? Since the user can’t do anything about it, I would guess it just causes confusion for most.
I suspect now that ZUI will be standard those different versions are going to cause a bit of confusion.
I wonder: Could the app/add-on’s version (mostly) track the z-wave js UI version? Yeah, they are two different things, and the app might need to do an update w/o changing the ZUI version, but probably not that often.
The app version is essentially the version of the docker file that runs ZUI, so having them in sync makes some sense.
