Zwave Locks Configuration

Hello,

So I have ordered a Aeotec Z-Wave USB Z-Stick & Lockwood Z-Wave Keypad Deadlock( LEDDBW-ZW-KIT ). I am completely a newbie, and just to confirm the location I am based out of Australia. This limits the availability of only few products which the resellers get here.

Now Lockwood is the local brand of Assa Abloy, so this lock should be same as Yale locks.

Looking at the https://home-assistant.io/components/lock/ , there seems to be no Yale/Lockwood component. Would anyone with the similair lock please help me set this up.

Apologies if this is too generic question, I am happy to do further testing to help to do integration with this.

I don’t have one of these, but in theory it should work with the Z-Wave locks component: https://home-assistant.io/components/lock.zwave/ (can someone who has one confirm this is the case?).

I don’t have the specific lock in question but your logic is sound- I have the Schlage Camelot and it too uses a normal Z-Wave “Lock” component. I believe that component is pretty vendor-agnostic but I don’t know if there’s a list of officially supported locks or anything.
