The only suggestion that I have is that I have a HA Yellow Box with a Zooz 800 series Zwave USB stick.
While I have an occasional issue, generally my HA is running solidly. When Zwave stops working (once every few months) I power cycle the Yellow Box and remove & put back the Zwave stick.
In fact I put the Yelllow Box on a Kasa Wifi plug and if ever needed I can power cycle the Yellow Box even when I am not at home, using the Kasa App on my Iphone.
I have also seen that sometimes a simple HA restart is sufficient.
As mentioned generally my HA runs smoothly.
How did you install HA ? Skyconnect on HA OS is plug&play, but on a incorrectly configured docker can be a head-ache. Some for Z-Wave. Bluetooth is always a PITA.
That’s the thing… HA comes pre-installed on the Yellow Box. It is made by the HA team and that is why I chose it, believing (rightfully I think) that it best conforms to work with HA. Of course others may have excellent experience with alternative setups.
The Yellow Box comes with Zigbee and as mentioned I use a Zooz 800 USB stick. So far I have not used Bluetooth.
When asking a hardware question or having hardware problem; you must detail install method, OS and machine you install on. Every install is unique and having this info is the difference between a quick answer and no answer at all.
Docker, HAOS, or VM?
Windows or linux?
RasPi, HA color, random PC, NUC?
I presume it is HAOS so how did you setup zwave?
Check that you did not mistakenly install both zwavejs and zwavejsui? both work but you must use only one.
Can you just not pair the aeotech or does zwave show as failed and give an error? What is the error?
