I am having an issue where I am not able to add zwave to my HA config.yaml file. As soon as I put in zwave and restart HA the UI will no longer load. I have to then remove zwave from the config file and restart my Raspberry Pi 3 in order to get the UI to load again.
Any suggestions for what I can do to get this working again?
Check the log file in the configuration directory. home-assistant.log. It will detail the problem.
How long do you wait before you restart and remove z-wave from config? On first boot it takes quite some time to build the OZW stuff. I had the same “problem” my self. Just had to wait and be patient on the first boot.
I checked there and found nothing except:

Let me add it back in now, and I will let it sit for a while and hopefully it will work. Maybe I am just being impatient, I think I only gave it about 5 minutes.
