i want to try home assistant. I currently use raspi with razberry board and domoticz. My zwave devices (about 20) are associated with the razberry board. Do I have to re-include all zwave devices when installing HA on the RASPI and turning on zwave or can HA detect Zwave devices with the dicovery component without re-inclusion?
my initial guess would be a yes, you would have to include the devices to the network again. However the RaZberry has some built in memory and I believe that the board would also store connection data, so you would have to exclude all of them first.
I’m not 100% sure, but my confidence in this over 90 %
Maybe just try to swap microSD cards quickly and that would be a quite painless try.
Hello Botond,
yes, in fact, I wanted to try it the described way. But i don’t want to exclude over 20 Zwave devices from being included again…
Maybe it is also possible to import the current zwave configuration via zwcfg file from domoticz into HA, domoticz also uses openzwave…
I will try it and report here, but it will take a little while
