Does anybody know if if the Aotec minimote still works when HA is down. I want to create a failsafe that i can use when mij home assistant crash, so i can still operate my zwave devices.
Other ideas are olso welcome.

I have a DUWI remote as secondary controller and it works even if the main controller (Aeotec USB) is not connected/Raspberry is off.
How do you connect your zwave devices then to your lights/plugs? Do you use zwave config in hass or dircect?
Here is a bit more info on the minimote. I only use them in scene mode but you can use them in group mode.
