Zwave stopped working after recent upgrade

  1. My Zwave stopped working with a recent upgrade. Cannot connect anymore. Here are the messages from zwave2mqtt.

Try rebooting.

This fixed it, I had to stop VM then reinsert stick.

Hi.

The issue is related to the soft restart inside zwavejs2mqtt. I disabled it, removed and inserted the z-wave stick again and rebooted home assistant, and I was up and running again. Thanks for the help

I feel like I am having a similar issue. I rebooted the VM a few times no dice. I will shutdown pull zwave stick and reinsert it. Home assistant is currently not even seeing ttyACM0 anymore.

Edit: I just followed your instructions and that worked great! Thank you! I was pulling my hair out!

How did you disable soft reset?

oh I found the soft reset and disabled it. ttyacm0 was showing up then went away. so disabled soft reset and rebooting now

I’ve got the same problem here and haven’t found the option to disable soft-reset yet. Can anyone help me?
I think the option can be found in de webinterface of ZwaveJS, but that interface isn’t running when the service isn’t starting all the way.

The option is only on the Zwave2MQTTJS interface.
