The issue started a week or so ago and seems to show up every couple days. I am not able to communicate with the zwave devices at all until I disable, re-enable, and then restart. Just a regular reboot will not fix it. Any ideas what would cause this?
Check stats of zwave devices and look for one that has comm issues
From what I can tell they both became unavailable at the same time. I suspect the one that is further away from the base is more likely to be the issue.
But what then? Why would one device with bad communication lock everything up so badly that not even a reboot would fix the issue? Is my only option to discard that device?
Did you ever figure this out? I have several zwave issure that kind of mimic the problem you descibed.
