Zwave to drive LED power supply

Hi all,

I have a wall switch that when turned on powers a LED power supply which in turn powers on a 24v white led strip, what is the best zwave product to drive this LED Power supply?

Is it better to use something like a qubino relay between the dumb wall switch and the power supply or qubino nano dimmer?

I’ve called Fibaro support to get info on uses case like this (where you have to power the PSU and not an LED bulb directly) and they suggested the dimmer over the relay.

The main Z-Wave analogue LED controler is from Fibaro, however I’ve not forgiven them for not releasing updated firmware to fix their Z-Wave issues with the FGD-212:

Personally, I’d go for a simple relay switch on the mains side if all you want is ON / OFF and dimming is not required. A FGD-212 is less likely to be able to dim LEDs through a LED switch mode PSU (even with a bypass and the latest fixed firmware).

Given a blank canvas, I prefer a Zigbee Shelly RGBW2 for analogue LED, or WLED running on a ESP for neopixel LED strip.
