I’ve set up a separate zwave network for some sensors/meters on my Intel NUC with hassio and the zwave2mqtt addon.
I have added some devices as well. They seem to work fine in the openzwave control panel.
Looks promising, but:
I’m unable to find out how to make it send mqtt messages to my broker (the hassio addon broker).
I have set up the mqtt broker address and port, and the prefix (zwave).
What else do I have to set up? Does anyone have typical configration parameters to share with a beginner?
I found out myself.
I didn’t know I had to add mqtt:// at the beginning of the mqtt url.
