Yes, the update is out.
0.7.1 solves it! (refresh updates in HA)
Yup, seems so…! My dana lock btze seems broken though, still better than everything broken!
I directly installed 0.7.1 and now nothing works. Don’t thinkt the fix fixed it… Or is there something else going on here?

Interesting, I did not have an issue with any of my 59 Zwave devices after upgrade to 0.7.0. No problems either with 0.7.1
Then either 1) you aren’t using a VM, and/or 2) you aren’t using a 500-series controller.
I am not on a virtual machine but Home Assistant Blue, also an Aeon stick. Z-Wave collapsed after update 0.7.
Update 0.71 fixed it. Thanks! There was a moment of panick since I have almost 100 Z-Wave devices…
I just tried upgrading to 0.71, and it is still broken. Restored from backup to 0.6.2, and everything is working again.
For those who have upgraded to 0.7.1 successfully, have you set the “500 series controller soft reset” to disabled?
I’m still running 0.6.2 until I know the correct upgrade path and settings.
+1. Something is still not OK. Have 500 controller, upgraded to 0.71, tried every scenario (enabled, disabled, automatic) - no z-wave. Restoring 0.62 fixes.
I having a .0.7.1 problem as well
I I have to report problems still too. 0.71 fixed the network for most of my devices but not my Devolo Thermostatic Valces. They stop working and report E5 (no connection to controller).
Downgrade to 0.62 and everything is fine.
What to do?
On top of the Z-Wave problem Z-Wave JS keeps updating automatically to 0.71 once a day? Disabling my thermostatic valces in the process. What is happening?
There must be github where we can report these problems?
This issue reported via Github when chaos started to be noticed seems to be the most direct reporting of the problem; it’s had no meaningful update from code maintainers. But – it’s also a weekend… Z-wave not responsing after update of today ! · Issue #125843 · home-assistant/core · GitHub
Well, there is already a more active GitHub issue:
But also no update. I agree… Its the weekend.
same here. my Zwave JS add-on had auto updated from 0.6.x to 0.7.1
All Z-wave devices with S2 security went off line, despite being able to re-interview them.
typical log messages
Dropping message because network keys are not set or the driver is not yet ready to receive secure messages. Error in driver
ZWaveError: Node 009 supports Security S2, but no S2 network keys were configured. The interview might not include all functionality. (ZW0214)
Restored the Zwave JS add-on from backup and disabled the auto update.
0.7.1 did not fix:
disconnect with fibaro smoke alarm FGSD002 firmware 3.3
disconnect with NEO Coolcam PIR NAS-PD03Z firmware 2.37.0
but Neo Coolcam NAS-PD03Z with Firmware 3.81 works fine.
rolling back, resolves all issues.
Issue seems to be fixed in 0.7.2 release
Can also confirm the 0.7.2 seems to have resolved the issues.
500 series controller soft-reset - Still set to Automatic.
