Supervisor updates itself. Sometimes you can see an update button on the supervisor page, but even if you don’t click it, it will get updated. Yesterday I was still on 220, this morning on 221, and I did not update anything.
Yeah I’m using the google-dark theme… All themes have oddities I find. Seems a lot of the themes have different variables. I wish there was a list that actually meant something.
I thought point releases weren’t
I thought point releases were not supposed to do this.
221 was released <12h ago, so that is not possible
They are not, and that is not what happened, the supervisor and HA have different releases, missing icons is due to a supervisor release, not a HA point release.
Any update here with version 0.109.6? I don‘t want to downgrade again
Then it must have been auto updated, never happened before…?
0.110 is the next major upcoming release so it makes sense for major changes there.
What I’m saying is that (I think) something that was intended for dev builds only got merged too early by accident and it wasn’t caught in time since it occurred just before a Supervisor build went out. Mistakes happen, wasn’t any one persons fault.
Oh I accept “shit happens”.
Certainly major changes should happen there.
It would just be good if this stuff didn’t seep back into previous releases. No problems here, but if this stuff keeps happening, it will just feed the “constant breaking” paranoia that some people seem to have developed.
Perhaps “more haste, less speed” (although I never fully understood what that epithet was trying to say)
supervisor auto updates. Not sure there is any way of stopping it. It has been debated at length last time it broke something
Hi matteos1, I can confirm the Xiaomi Air Purifier 3H now works in HA!
fan:
- platform: xiaomi_miio
host: <IP>
model: zhimi.airpurifier.mb3
token: <TOKEN>
If you do nothing, and watch tomorrow, it will have updated.
It would be great if the “release notes” button in HA linked directly to the release notes for the point release in question (ie https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2020/04/29/release-109/#release-01096---may-7 not just https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2020/04/29/release-109/ ).
Would save a lot of scrolling, especially in this new world of frequent point releases.
In your browser ctrl-f and type 109.6, it scrolls all by itself.
But yes, that would be nice.
Yes, I do that on desktop but it’s more painful on mobile
As in the last versions: the color temperature is not saved in the scenes editor und not written to the yaml file.
Same here.
@kayhanbelek you don’t want to hear this but the fix for this is reseting all the affected accessories with developer tab’s call service: homekit.reset_accessory
or you would have to unpair and re-pair. it took roughly 30 mins to fix my 23 devices linked with smartthings.
zhaquirks not working on aqara temperatur sensor
I have added a new aqara temperatur sensor, i get 3 sensors but no battery level sensor.
Older sensors got 4 sensors including the battery level.
The older sensors are included as “class”: “zhaquirks.xiaomi.aqara.weather.Weather”, but the new one as “class”: “zigpy.device.Device”
