Unfortunately I don’t have much time for testing at the moment, so I’ll give up and stick with 0.113.

Do you have default_config enabled in your configuration.yaml?

I feel your pain. Are you saying you can’t even upgrade because your existing system has this config error? Or these are changes made after upgrading and you just can’t restart?

This is almost certainly a syntax error in the action: of an automation calling a service with data:, correct? Can you grep for “action:” recursively from your config directory? Then narrow down to automations fitting the mold. If it won’t break anything, trigger them manually and see if you throw an error or if the automation succeeds.

If this is from changes made while an instance is running, reload automations first of course.

You could narrow it down to a particular config file by commenting them out one by one and checking config.

Obviously, I’ve never had to do any of the above… but I believe most times I’ve seen issues like this it hasn’t actually been real errors, it’s been indenting.

Yes, it’s there.

New user here! I’m using hassio, and have been using linux in general for 25 years.
Thanks for the awesome work. I just started fiddling with the new media browser.

Will there be a way to mount a classic NFS share (typically with music) from inside the container? Maybe by forwarding the volume from the docker host? I guess this will be a popular feature now that media browsing is simpler.

When I have a vague config error like this in an automation that I can’t track down I just restart HA from the CLI (to skip the config check). After it restarts the offending automation will usually show as unavailable in the configuration entities panel (sort them by status) and that is where your problem will be.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t work for scripts because if HA can’t load one script, it won’t load the integration at all.

Jinja2 doesn’t allow curly brackets inside another curly brackets, if i’m not mistaken. (at least if it’s not in quotation marks) That’s probably the reason and then it shouldn’t be that hard to find it.

He likely he forgot a closing ‘)’ somewhere. @xbmcnut

Since 0.115 the light-entity card is not working properly anymore.
The color wheel is not showing up anymore:
before
:

after:
image

Turn the light on and it will appear. It has always worked this way.

It only appears when the light is on

Always has

still not there:
Knipsel

Then you need to raise an issue with the custom card developer.

still not there.
After Ctrl f5. Also no result

Mine and Tom’s are okay

Is it a custom card or a specific integration ?

The light entity card is a custom card. Hence:

Take it up with the card developer. Not a home assistant issue.

Also after clear cache?
I did make an issue.
It is an known issue
The developper is a bit frustrated about the way HA is acting with new releases :sunglasses:

After update to 115.2 HA not read serial modbus coils. It sends commands and everything works, but does not read the state of the switches

It looks like this has already been fixed. Is it still broken for you in 0.115.2 ?

I just upgraded from 0.114.2 to 0.115.2 and encountered this issue
