And just like that, it’s August. Time is flying by. People all over the world have been busy to create this release for you. This release again a ton of cool new stuff.

First, let’s talk entity IDs. Entity IDs are how we identify entities in automations and scripts. They start with the domain and end with an object id, for example: light.kitchen. Or, if you’re unlucky light.node_2_2_abc. With this release, it will now be possible to manage entity IDs of entities via the UI! Just as with changing the name, it requires that the integration is able to supply a unique ID for each entity.

This release also includes a bunch more Tuya integrations thanks to @huangyupeng. And thanks to @peternijssen we’re now also able to talk with Spider thermostats and plugs.

Are all the components listed for 0.75 cloud-only components?

Looking at the component pages, while most are IoT class: Cloud Polling not all are.

Okay. I did not know about FutureNow and Sisyphus and luckily for me, they are local components that I could put to use. Thanks.

Very cool, but not an every day purchase.

Not all products that can be controlled by Home Assistant are not an everyday purchase, such as a Radio Thermostat and Konnected Alarm Panel.

I do not see the last_seen attribute for google location sharing device trackers.
Anyone else has this issue?

Does it mean we can also change the domain of a given entity? For instance, I have a smart power plug that gets listed as light., can I change it to switch.?

Same problem with device tracker not working after upgrade.

after upgrade to 75.1 getting lots of log entries and devices keeps going unavailable then coming back.
