Same problem. For me it crashed after I forcequit the app.
Same here. After upgrade to 0.100.1 iOS companion app 2.0.0 crashed. I’m unable to open it as it crashes each time at opening. Restarting phone doesn’t help.
HA Config Checker reports a General Error - mobile-app No module named “hass_nubacasa”
Yep and unfortunately I’m not sure if it was the latest iOS app update or the 100.1 release. I tried removing and reinstalling the beta and can’t get past any of the ‘helper’ screens. Just crashes.
IT’S THE IOS APP that needs fixing… thought that was 10000% clear!!
know this is a 2.0 release thread, but can any of you confirm the official iOS app version 1 still works?
I doubt it works with 0.100
what would be the reason for that? I am using the released App 1 to full satisfaction on 99.3 though iOS 13 has some strange effects on the statusbar…
The reason is that the library that checks the version can’t cope with 100 - only does up to 99
now thats a silly breaking change… centennial bug!
and leaves everyone in the dark… beta And release users…
Well no one knew until we hit the wall in the beta. Robbie was trying to get a fix out yesterday before 0.100 was released - tried and it crashed as well. I may be wrong about v1 app but I doubt it.
Well you’ll love the v2 app most probably when it’s fixed.
sure, I am using it too, and have them set to 2 different instances for quick switching But since its a beta, I like to keep the release version around still
I have v2.0 and v 1.51 installed.
1.51 works absolutely fine. I am on iOS 13.2 beta
As am I but we are talking about HA version 0.100.0 and from your post I’m guessing you’re not on 0.100.x
great, I will see what happens in my setup.
since Ive got you now
do you still see the bottom bar in the app with the cogwheel, and the top menu bar (where the iOS indicators are) ? these are all gone in my phone on iOS 13.1: you can see a very faint battery indicator but all others are invisible
Yes they are all there on 1.51.
All my notifications as based on the 2.0 app and although the app itself won’t launch the notifications work fine. For those that are getting the app crash pop up for 2.0 continuously, just force close the app and it happens a lot, lot less if at all.
ok thanks for confirming.
Odd though, started with the iOS 13 betas and remained so after release was installed…
I am on iOS13.2 beta now though. I didn’t really notice if it was there on the release version to be fair, so it ‘may’ be fixed on the new iOS beta?
