If a developer then want to implement something like that which is not a stand-alone feature but makes significant changes to Home Assistant’s core then they need to post an architecture proposal and get that approves before it can be accepted (so no point coding it before that as it might not get approved).

You can notice there thqt end-users can post comments there to existing suggestion (which does not only include new features to be added but can also include a change that will remove a feature).
Note that ideas posted by someone that can not or will not be coding and implementing it themselves are only suggestions, so be aware that could be that no one will act on your ideas.
