I filled out a bug report, but the HA fix for z-wave js thermostats seems to be only kinda fixed. The current temperature setting is now correct, but the ability to set the temperature via the HA ui is gone. The controls just aren’t there anymore.
It’s working for me, what card are you using and have you cleared your browser cache?
Hello,
Is it correct that notify doesn’t work anymore?
I used to have push messages to my mobile phone.
Now those don’t work anymore.
service: notify.mobile_app_mar_lx1a is what I used in the past.
Any way to move forward?
So cool that Paul Bottein has joined Nabu Casa! Mushroom is such an amazing theme for my dashboard. Good choice!
I may have ordered my first ESP yesterday seeing the announcement about the Bluetooth Proxies. Perhaps now my switchbot stuff will be in range
Notify works fine. There were changes unrelated to this core release for notification syntax though. You should check the docs for the changes.
It seems like this bug was spotted in the beta3 version and reported here (no resolution yet).
In my case, after clearing the browser’s cache, the entire page fails to load (tested with Edge and Firefox). Only thing I see in the main view is the Home Assistant icon; browser appears to be waiting for something it isn’t getting. I may be wrong but browser’s web tool seems to suggest it’s waiting for a certain font (Roboto-Medium.woff2). Anyway, I’ve reported the issue in the frontend repo.
EDIT
I couldn’t find a workaround so I downgraded back to 2022.8.7 which loads all pages without a problem (using the same browsers that stalled with 2022.9.0).
Is anyone else having issues with Pushover when this sytax is used in 2022.9?
This does NOT Work
This does Work.
I have cleared my cache, tried across different browsers and I mostly use the app on my phone. Here is what it looks like to me. Notice that there is no UI to set the target temperature (although my scenes that set the temp still work).
Changes to the automation editor make a HUGE difference !
Great work, as always.
Nice to get a better overview of the automations!
Can you take a look at renaming the automations? It won’t work for me when I change the name.
When I press save and then check the script.yaml, it’s still the same.
The update process to 2022.9 was smooth for me. However, after a few hours, I started experiencing weird issues: home assistant getting stuck and not responsive, despite browser clearing, home assistant restart and machine reboot. Eventually, I had to downgrade to 2022.8.7 where everything works well for me. Am I the only one facing these issues?
Interesting. Well I commented on the post where the setting bug seemed to be fixed to see if it’s related to that maybe (?). We’ll see what comes up it. Here is that post btw:
I hadn’t picked that up either, great stuff!
Ah, I’m using ZwaveJS2MQTT, which doesn’t seem to have this issue.
I have the Yale Conexis L1 with the Yale Access module. I also have 2 bluetooth adaptors added to HA. Using docker on Debian 11. The lock is not found. I also have a ESP32 running ESPHome so I added the bluetooth_proxy: to my existing yaml and uploaded. That should create a proxy automatically, right? Is it supposed to show as an entity or something? How do I know the proxy has been created and is running successfully? How can I add the Yale lock? Is the Yale keypad (small grey keypad, also August branded) supported? Because if the keypad is supported then it would be amazing, perhaps could be used as a standalone keypad for other brands of locks as HA would handle the PIN management and processing.
Posting separately from the issue above - I have cameras in picture cards on my dash, so I can see my CCTV. Both my Nest Hello cam feed and my IP ONVIF feeds are flickering. It’s the card itself that’s flickering not the video feed. The video feed from the cams is fine. That transparent bar with the entities at the bottom (picture entity card) is the part that flickers. Was not happening on the August '22 release.
I am not seeing that, I assume you know about refreshing your browser, so no other suggestions here.
Happy Birthday! Thank you for are great work on a excellent app.
One important moment for me. The new entity popup top looks ugly for most of my entities. Especially a camera entity. I don’t have very good eyesight so my fonts are not very small. Now the header has got a double space. Especially bad on small displays.
Is there a way to bring back the old view? Maybe as an option in future releases?
Again, thank you!
Bluetooth Proxy right now only supports listening, you cannot control a device with Bluetooth Proxy. Yet.
