If you have time slider in the video player - you NOT using WebRTC. You still using HLS.
Iâve had an issue with entity histories of scraped sensors not appearing for several hours following an update. History of other entities appear immediately.
you mean like this?
No slider after like 3 seconds.
But once the slider disappears I basically get one frame every 2-3 seconds. Itâs a nightmare.
Reolink Doorbell doesnât like RTSP.
I had my doorbell configured using HTTP (ffmpeg) in Go2RTC/Webrtc card before and it was flawless.
with webrtc integrated - what shoul I do to use it?
I removed two webrtc intergrations and the only way to view stream is picture glance - is this correct? cause custom card stopped working (obviously). are there are other cards? I donât like the way of having underlying entity that pops up once clicked on the view
removed those:
still have go2rtc installed.
thanks!
I do not see a time slider in the picture_entity card.
In the camera configuration I use the same rtsp-Stream as in your webrtc-Card.
In the webrtc-Card the mode is RTC. Where can I set the mode in the camera/picture_entity to RTC?
When i click on the picture card I see a slider in the popup window
Yes. White horizontal line means MSE. Gray horizontal line (disabled) without point on it - WebRTC.
okay thanks! so - after deleting both webrtc integrations, keeping go2rtc - what card to use to stream cameras please?
Hmmm⌠minimalist-mobile-tapbar theme on mobile app no longer allows the page to scroll up far enough, so content at the bottom of a dashboard remains hidden.
Indeed, I was looking for a comment about that.
I wanted to precisely adjust Tile Cards, but itâs not possible to make them using less than half of the section if they are not in vertical mode.
In vertical mode (icon on top), the minimal allowed width is 3/12.
No issues with the Mushroom template card which is more flexible.
I was hoping to replace the grid for this kind of setup: 3 tiles on 1 line.
I hope it will be acceptable to allow minimal width of 4/12 (instead of 6/12) for Tile Card in Horizontal mode in the future.
This is what Iâm getting with Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro:
Fluent, works great on max settings seems to be fast.
Clear, unless I drop the stream settings in the Reolink windows app to the lowest, I get 0.5-1 fps on the clear stream. No audio.
Here it is: screenshot below is one I use for regular dashboard:
And here is how it look on narrow screen (mobile):
In this second case Iâd like have information cards (as they are now) then weather cards (weather alert then weather forecast) followed by personal cards.
Any default HA card, that support camera streaming. For example, picture entity.
Performance is horrendous with picture entity card now using the Reolink doorbell.
Had stable 20fps using go2rtc with webrtc card using http (FLV, ffmpeg) but it seems like the integrated go2rtc is using RTSP which is terrible on most Reolink cameras.
Nothing we can do about sadly. Also stuck with like 0.5fps.
Hi everyone.
With this update, do i need to keep the go2rtc addon?
Do i need to keep the SmarThinQ from HACS too?
Thanks
I do use the picture entity card, tried a few different h264-Streams working with RTC in go2rtc (frigate). But I never get this result in the above card - always HLS.
Found a workaround for everyone with Reolink RTSP issues.
set FLV here.
But give it a few minutes to readjust. Seems like the framerate is stable for now.
Thanks again for a nice update guys and galls!
Installing went smooth, as usual.
I have one issue though and I guess itâs related to the new way (webrtc) cameraâs are displayed even though most of the time, cameraâs are displayed without any delay but in some rare cases they just donât open up.

Any ideas? I had the WebRTC HACS addon installed, which I have removed.
Its viewable with sound if I drop clear to lower resolution, lower bitrate, and lower fps, and that would be acceptable for now until its updated in the future, however the lower resolution crops the image significantly so not sure if I should stay on the new update.
Interesting, I tried FLV too but maybe I didnât wait long enough, i couldnât get any stream at all unless RTSP was selected.
