Adding Emporia Vue 2

I’m trying to connect my Emporia Vue 2 energy monitor to HA. The istyructions that I found on Github say:

  1. Go into HACS from the side bar.
  2. Click into Integrations.
  3. Click the 3-dot menu in the top right and select Custom repositories
  4. In the UI that opens, copy and paste the url for this github repo into the Add custom repository URL field.

I don’t have HACS in my side bar. So I went to Addons and clicked the Add-on Store button.
I then clicked the three dots and saw that there is no Custom Repositories, so I clicked Repositories.
I pasted the github URL into the box and clicked Add. It then said “GitHub - magico13/ha-emporia-vue: Home Assistant Integration for Emporia Vue Energy Monitor is not a valid add-on repository”.

|What am I doing wrong? How do get this add-on to work for me?

Thank you - Rowan

HACS is the community store ‘plug-in,’ ‘add-on,’ where community members share their integrations for HA.

I follow tutorials from Everything Smarthome- awesome YouTube vid’s etc. There are a number of amazing HA experts on YouTube! Here is a direct link to their installing HACS tutorial: https://youtu.be/OcJd3MzCD9A?si=f04nHi9poEtUmJDP
