Aeotec ZW095 reporting zero values and error in OZW logs

I recently fired an HA installation back up with an Aeotec Z-Wave stick attached, for use with my ZW095 HEM. I factory reset both devices and I am able to pair and see the node in the HA zwave interface.

However, the data is coming in with all zeroes, both in the interface and the logs. In the logs I also see ERROR: Dropping command, expected response not received after 1 attempt(s) frequently, even though it seems that the hub and the device are able to communicate.

Is my HEM just a dud now, or is there some way to get them to communicate again? Thanks in advance.

Did you re-setup the reports configurations?

I did factory resets on both the HEM and the stick, so they should be all the default values. Is there anything to set them to specifically that would help?

I’ve tried setting parameter 101 to several of the values listed (specifically 2, 3, 6927, and 16128) and it still reports all zeroes, even after a heal and a network restart.

Is it possible you have the clamps on incorrectly?
one should have arrow facing towards your breakers, one should be pointing towards your meter.

The meter was reporting data correctly last year when I used it, and the clamps have not been moved. I opened the panel up and made sure nothing had chewed through the wires. I’ve tried every solution I’ve been able to find

Exclude your device from your zwave network.
Re-include the device without using the Add Secure Node just use Add Node

See if that helps, you’re adding 200% traffic overhead for no reason.

Already tried that, no change. Did it again and posted new log for reference. Interestingly the error is gone now but it’s still reporting zeroes.

Well it’s a start, try setting those configurations again, now that we have the comms errors cleared up.

No dice. I’m thinking the clamps have gone bad somehow…every communication between the device and the hub seems fine.

Pretty sure CT clamps don’t go bad.

What do your config values show in ozw-admin?

Tried all those values, still no change, though I don’t seem to have the first two options on the z-wave config panel (I’m using HA’s built-in integration)

Meanwhile I begin to hate z-wave integration… this concept and the small transmission distance drove me crazy very often. To much time IMHO for reliable home-automation for common users.
