For me the only way the calibration worked was when i pressed 5 times, not 3. When i pressed 3 times, i always got 2 beeps. When i pressed 5 times, i got a single beep and then when the curtain was at the open position the other beep.

maybe odd question … but will that device (rod version) works on the Curtains as on the photo?
These are IKEA curtains … or do I have to use rings?

If there is no extension and different width of the tube, then it will work.
I mean the extension of the rod itself. Pease see the photo below:

Basically, if the rod is the same across the whole length, then it should work, if not, then it will stop at the extension/junction point.
@DBunevich its the same… the thing is the type of the curtains ie Back tab… they state in manual 2 different types…
