Aqara leak sensor - how would it hold up underneath water?

Thinking of using this in the shower and bath to detect usage. It looks fairly waterproof. Shower i think should work fine but submerged in bath for a long time ? Mmm maybe not.

I don’t think it will last. You could use a humidity sensor instead?

I am using those but it takes a while to ramp up. I’d like to get something more instant if possible.

Can certainly be made even prettier with a thin metal rod and a small enclosure.

You should go for a capacitative sensor instead.
It can detect a liquid without being in contact with it
