Aqara m3 hub connected to HA but not all device under M3 gets connected

Hi all, I have an issue with the aqara m3 integration with home assistant. I managed to connect m3 to home assistant, most of the integration automatically populates. It comes in under the m3 hub

There’s some items missing and particularly both H1 20amp water heater switches did not appear on home assistant.

Is there a way to connect them through the hub? Or is there a way to connect them at all. I tried repairing the switch to the m3 hub but made no advancements

I also tried re-pairing the entire aqara hub m3 to home assistant, no changes.

I have to 20 Amp single switch and the H1 3 rocker switches not showing,
all other (20) items are showing OK
Single rocker, Double Rocker, Temperature sensor, Window sensor…

I am having the same issue. Not all of my Door/Window Sensors came over and am missing FP2. I could see if there was a specific device class that wasn’t handled by Matter, but from what I read, even my Air Quality Monitor is supposed to be supported.

I am considering a full reset and setup bridges before pairing any of my endpoints, but probably won’t get around to it unti Sept.

Hi, I have the M3 setup as a matter gateway. The gateway itself doesn’nt have any entities at all and the plugs with electricity measurement only have on/off. Other devices don’t show at all. Also, the range is rubbish. Its pretty disappointing.

I’ve the same issue, I’m using Aqara M3 as a hub, I connected leak sensors to it, but it’s not reflected in HA. Did you find a solution? I started thinking about getting a zigbee connector to HA to connect it directly, but then what is the point of having dedicated hub…

I am having this issue as well…was any one able to find a solution? My matter devices pass through but none of my signee devices do.

Same here… M3 hub with aqara non matters devices either not showing up or some sensors are missing like the pressure sensor in temperature/moisture/pressure sensor… or also lux missing from motion sensors… or water leak no showing up at all.

Also, I’m not sure how to link the threads network together with HA - Google - Aqara

I’m considering going with a ZHA stick/ziibbe2mqtt and selling this hub… Any other solutions?

i’m still having this same issue. I’ve got 2 Aqara U50 Locks connected to my new M3 Hub, and the Hub connected to HA, but HA is showing no devices under the M3 Hub. Is this still not addressed?

I have the M2 Hub so this may not be relevant, but I can see the Zigbee devices on the M2 Hub through the Homekit Device integration. Have you tried to see if the Aqara Zigbee devices show there?

I have the M3 Hub and 4 P2 door/window sensors. In the matter of my HA, shows the hub M3 and then 4 generic door/window sensors which would be the passthrough sensors from the M3. I did what I thought was the normal thing to do and went in my Aqara Android app, went to each sensor, went to matter connector, and then got their code and went to my HA and “add matter device”. That came in fine and even shows the names I had given them in the Aqara app. Now I realize that the same sensors are showing up: “As the M3 hub passthrough” + “the independently linked to HA sensors”. This wouldn’t matter if those independent one’s were fine, but they will show unavailable while the M3 passthrough show fine and I can’t have those devices just popping offline whenever.

–For M3 hubs and people with Matter Aqara devices, is it best to use the passthrough devices that are created via the M3 hub, or map each device on it’s own? I also have a few cameras from Aqara as well and suspect once I turn those on, it will strengthen my Matter network “of Aqara devices” and I’ll end up with more robust Matter connections with Aqara devices. I’m new to the V2 setup of my HA at my 2nd house since I’ve discovered Home Assistant, so I’m going the route of what I hope is somewhat future proof.
