Sorry for late reply, the unit is off during the winter anyway.
To answer your questions:
using local application in HA from HACS - yes
HA - bazén filtračné… - is filter pool
switches on / off - I have disconnected the filter pump from dosing unit and using wifi socket to control it as I wish. Modifying the Start and End time in Dosing unit UI is not very convenient way, especially when there is not API endpoint (or there is?) to do so.
@hopkins-tk is the local integration running for anyone yet?
It is very unstable right now, although it is forwarding the data packets to the aseko cloud service correctly:
I can not see any values at HA device/entity side, all the item are unavailable.
I have tried to remove the device and add again, but there is no Aseko device/entity detected right now.
I have found following warnings in the log:
Hi all. Back to RS485. I have new unit asin aqua net. I will try to purchase external touchscreen and sniff comm. But first i must check compatibility, because of this statement: Not compatible with ASIN AQUA NET 2025, ASIN AQUA NET+ and ASIN AQUA Pro controllers.
I found, that iQntrl is ASEKO branded product and is officially integrated over rs485 with Loxone. iQntrol dosing system DOS-NET - LOXONE Library. Unfortunately still only reading. Technically i hope its possible, because of this sentence: "Parameters can be transferred to the Loxone via RS485, writing is not possible for safety reasons"
I don't know if your current Asin Aqua Net unit is compatible with Aseko external display, but it was compatible before. Just check my screenshot from NET user guide from the link above.
BTW where are you from, it seems you are near by, just guessing because of your nickname
My unit is compatible with external display, and have all the equipment to sniff the protocol so we could cooperate somehow.
Just to be sure you will order Aseko External Display with TOUCH functionality. It seems aseko is trying to sell new Aseko External display units without touch functionality. Those would definitely not be able to control anything.
If it will not be compatible with your unit, you can just send it back for refund within 10 days window if ordered online.
Aseko announced the complete Cloud service will not be free after 1.7.2026 anymore. The monthly payment of Eur 9,99 or yearly Eur 24,99 is necessary to use the Aseko mobile app (Aseko LIVE, Aseko Remote) and have available your unit at aseko.cloud. It will affect any 3rd party API integrations as well.
I am seriously pissed off by that and wrote a furious email, expressing my opinion on closed interfaces and making money with customers' data and / or services. I would celebrate if everybody here would do the same.
At evervbody who came here looking for Aseko integration into Homeassistant: Go, buy something else in the first place!!! Every help in getting it to work without their proprietory cloud all the more appreciated!
They just replied to my email!?
Maybe they are not lost to the dark side yet and there is hope!
They seriously asked me what I would need to do whatever I wanted to do (which is, as most of us I guess, remote control, that is, writing to the device instead of reading only).
I told them so and they might come here for a cooperation. Keep fingers crossed!
I have found one repo on github regarding Aseko Display decoding functionality some time ago. It was this one: https://github.com/roednix/aseko_display_decode/blob/master/aseko_display_decode
Then I asked @roednix if I can help anyhow (development/testing) with that one and he immediately hid that repo. Unfortunately I didn’t clone that one before.
I have sent roednix on OpenHab community forum private message, he checked that one but has never replied. So I am pretty sure there is a knowledge about Aseko Display integration, but no one want to share…
Does anyone know roednix from OpenHab.org comunity forum so we could ask him once more?
THE PLANNED SUBSCRIPTION WILL NOT BE INTRODUCED
• aseko.cloud
• Aseko Live
• Aseko Remote ALL FEATURES REMAIN AVAILABLE WITHOUT REGULAR FEES
Dear users,
Based on your feedback, we have decided not to introduce the planned subscription model for aseko.cloud services and the Aseko Live and Aseko Remote applications.
The original purpose of the planned subscription was to ensure the long-term development and operation of our cloud services. However, your feedback showed us that you see the applications and cloud services as a natural part of the purchased device. We have therefore decided to look for another solution and keep them available without regular fees.
Thank you for your trust and for your open feedback. Your opinions help us continue improving our products and services.
