Checking my list of theories I noticed that I did have more than 50 devices connected and the limit seems to be 50.
So I had to delete a couple of unused light bulbs and then it started working again.
This Issue/thread was closed some days ago with the comment:
We’ve been informed by the Tuya team that they have fixed the issue on their end, causing the occasional signature errors. Closing this issue on our end.
But I still get the authentication error TODAY when upgrading from 2024.6.4 to 2024.7.1 !
I messed up and had to restore a backup from 10h before. This error showed up after that. The weird thing is it says “error - 2 weeks ago” on the error message, but I did not have this before the backup restore. Scanning the QR code in the app only kicks back that it’s expired.
I just did some digging around and got it working on my end. I restarted HA and tried verifying the QR code first thing once HA was live again, and that worked. HA has been restarted many times since this issue first appeared for me, so it seems to have something to do with the QR code becoming outdated if not verified first thing. But I really have no idea how this works.
Restarting HA and verifying the QR code as soon as HA became live again fixed this for me.
Yeah, I also have this issue. I have reauth several times, and evertime HA is restarted, it looses the auth again. I’m on the last version. All updated.
Same here. I had a long power outage today. My UPS ran out of juice.
HA restarted after power came back. Smartlife was in error. Logs showed “expired token”. I had to run through the steps of re-adding User Code in the Smart Life integration and scanning QR code.
